This individual is responsible for monitoring the quality of products during manufacturing, inspecting parts for proper component installation, visual defects, and minute details that could lead to quality issues that are known or unknown.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Requires recognizing, trouble-shooting and resolving non-compliant products or situations with interaction ofmproduction employees and Quality Technicians and Specialists
- Responsible for complete and accurate daily documentation of all QA concerns which arise on the production floor​
- Records, evaluates, and reports quality and reliability data
- Follows all Standardized Work Instructions for the Quality Inspection Department
- Raises any concerns on new quality concerns or defects to the responsible Quality leadership and ensures that chain of control procedure is followed for evaluation of defects
- Controls document and data requirements under the DV quality management system
- Attends and follows all training sessions and follows materials provided by company for improvement of quality control procedures
- Follows and assists with all sort and inspection procedures
- Other duties may be required ensuring that Diversity-Vuteq meets and exceeds our customer expectations and needs
Job Qualifications
Experience
- 1+ years of field experience preferred
- ASQ CQT, CQA, CQE an asset
Skills and Abilities
- Able to pass a colorblind test or have a passed colorblind test completed and documented
- Must be comfortable with reading and comprehending spreadsheets
- Demonstrate reading comprehension and understanding through comprehensive testing
- Demonstrate proficiency in basic math skills with or without an assistive device through comprehensive and periodic testing
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and stoop up to 12 hours daily
- Able to lift a maximum of 50 pounds as needed throughout the day
- Willingness to cross train in multiple areas
- Be a team player and willing to work overtime as needed
